About the Author
Jonathan Cristaldi, a performer and PR maverick (who goes by the alias JONNY CIGAR, a Self-Appointed Master Sommelier) is a aficionado of all things wine. He frequents the Napa Valley and reads most anything with regards to wine that he can find in print, if not reading or re-reading F. Scott Fitzgerald. At the present he is rather fond of the California Cab. Mr. Cigar considers himself a “Poet of the Gutter” and as a self-appointed Master Sommelier, hosts monthly events through his traveling saloon, The Noble Rot. Mr. Cigar is also an integral member of acclaimed supper club A Razor, A Shiny Knife, working closely with Michael Cirino and Daniel Castano to host amazing events around the world. Please note: The flog blog “WINETOLOGY” is written, in the voice of Jonny Cigar, meant to be humorous and light-hearted, like a bottle of Sutter Home rose (not to be taken too seriously).
