About Jonathan Cristaldi

Jonathan Cristaldi is a wine and food prophet who spent his 20s going by the alias, Jonny Cigar. Now in his 30s, a journey of self-discovery and education in Napa during the 2011 harvest has steered Jonathan on a vinous path: he is pursuing the WSET Sommelier Certification and is determined to lead the people into a wine and food promised land. Jonathan is your Noble Host. He writes about wine and wine-minded people here on Winetology.com and also hosts a weekly radio podcast series called Noble Rot Talks. Jonathan was dubbed a new “Wine Prophet” of New York City by Time Out New York. And that’s about as close as he’ll ever be to winning a TONY.
